The Public Journal
Submit to our publication by following these easy steps:

The Public Journal is currently accepting submissions:

We are looking for: journal entries, reflections, anecdotes, confessions, lists, letters you wrote and/or received, prose, dreams, interviews, IM conversations, and anything else that fits this loosey-goosey format. The only restriction is that we do not accept fiction or poetry. [Recap: get personal, intimate, ugly, serious, private, silly, revealing, and sexy. Okay?]

All authors’ names are listed collectively on the Contributors' Page, but are not affixed to their submissions.
Why do we do this?

1) So you feel more comfortable writing honestly about yourself
   a. less conscious about coming off as ‘abnormal’
   b. less conscious about coming off as amazing
2) Collectivism
   a. Even though we ask you to focus on your individuality, the result is a collective voice that is telling of a broader human experience.

(We are not jerks, we swear).

SUBMIT TO: your respective Public Journal at Cornell, Tufts, U of Michigan, or Bates. OR TO:

* 1. Only the person you email your entries to knows which submissions belong to whom. 2. Please read the Terms of submitting.
