PROJECT #1:

Want a free camera? Okay, fine – so you have to do something for us in return. And you can only keep it for a week. And it's disposable, so you could probably buy one from the corner grocery store for $5.99 with no strings attached. Intrigued by my generous proposition? Read on.

THE PROJECT: We want you to take pictures of the drudgery and wonder of your daily life. Yes, the ledge on which you keep your toothbrush, the meal you had for dinner, the smiling face of the lady at the toll booth you see every morning – it's all interesting to us. We want cold, hard evidence that someone out there lives a completely different life than us.

WHO ARE YOU? Don't worry if you think your life is boring, aren't a well-practiced photographer, or have never done an art project – our goal is to get pictures from all kinds of people. If you think you can take pictures of the details of your life over a one week period, then you are the person for us!

HOW TO GET INVOLVED: Email us with your name, age, occupation, and location. If you want, say a word on why the project is interesting, you're interesting, you're not interesting, or, you know, whatever. If we're going to send you a camera we'll get back to you very soon!

LOGISTICS: We send you both the camera and a return envelope. We do all processing of the prints ourselves. It won't cost you anything but time! Then we'll gather all our prints and make a nice little web-page exhibition. Yay!
