| The Public Journal Contact info/Call for expansion: |
|
Dear Reader,
We are currently expanding. The Public Journal is now published at
Cornell University, Tufts University
, University of Michigan, Bates College, and it is currently brewing at Fairfield University, as well. If you would like to start a branch of The Public Journal in your area, please contact us. We will kiss you on the electric face. * TRICIA AUNG ‘08 I am from a suburb of Chicago (although, I admit, 50% of the time I say I'm from Chicago) which is pretty un-extraordinary other than being the former home of the unpleasant girl on Laguna Beach (I've never actually watched it. Honest.), and the second largest church in America (I'm not a Christian!). I left my home at 14 (wee! Boarding school!) and made the bold decision to trade the cornfields for mountainous hills. To this day, my ears still pop from the drastic shifts in elevation, and I get shin splints from trudging around Cornell. I first discovered Public Journal when I ran into a friend on her way to a Public Journal organization meeting in the Spring 2005. She described the Public Journal as "really cute" (I responded with a furrowed brow, followed by a sigh), I followed her to the meeting and so begins my Public Journal affair. I am now a senior Biology major concentrating in Nutrition and Southeast Asian studies. And, before the question is posed, no, I do not have a job for next year but hopefully a law firm will feel compelled to employ me come May 2008.
