JONAH GREEN ‘06

Jonah Green lives in New York City as a videographer, writer and Public Journalite. Let me shift to first person. I graduated from CORNELL UNIVERSITY in 2006. Four years earlier I arrived at Cornell. I hated Freshman year. Abhorred it! Driven mad by the ice cream socials and the smell of a neighbor's popcorn and/or ramen, to say the least. But  the agony and lost-ness was short-lived. I most enjoyed the wild optimism of Sophomore year (anything is possible! Youth! Etc). It was out of that hope and excitement that the Public Journal sprung. I was an English major, and therefore out of a subconscious self-hatred I disliked other English majors. Is this relevant? I don't know. I watch too much TV, I think. I'm not proud of it. It's easy to be a lazy fat shit. But I've been reading a lot, I swear! Not that that assuages the  guilt, but. Okay, next.
